About

The Swedbank headquarters, one of the most preeminent examples of contemporary Lithuanian architecture, is based in the central business district of Vilnius along the Neris River. This new headquarters, where nine Swedbank branches are located, manifests architecture of quality and rationality. It is without a doubt one of the leading examples of contemporary architecture in Lithuania. Architectural expressions such as a transparent glass atrium that cuts the 16-storey building in half, and a terraced public roof with vast panoramic views towards the city, invite both residents and visitors to the city to enjoy the building – not only from afar. Architects were presented with the challenge of looking for unconventional design solutions due to the unique site conditions and its location set within an urban context. As a result, the Ambrasas architects studio designed a socially-responsible building that reflects the needs of the employees as well as the citizens of Vilnius.

During the tours, visitors will be introduced to the building’s history, architecture and the modern technologies that are installed within the building. Furthermore, the employees will reveal details about life within the building and will open doors that are usually closed to the public.
