Tauras Hill occupies an important place in the history of Naujamiestis. It has always been a landmark for its inhabitants, offering a unique cityscape now, just as much as before. However, access to Tauras Hill remains still undiscovered to most dwellers. This architectural walk will present Tauras Hill’s accessibility in new, inventive angles. You will hear how this territory developed, expanded and changed, through examples of charming wooden architecture, sophisticated Art Nouveau, interwar and late modernist buildings, all of which bear witness to a remarkable development of this part of the city.
Tours will be guided in Lithuanian.
