The Adomas Mickevičius Library building is a multi-layered creation of Vilnius architecture and its urban culture. Here, the 15th and 21st centuries coexist harmoniously, along with a whole palette of historical signs that allow visitors to journey back through time.

A full-color past is preserved here by unique interiors, valuable wall paintings from various periods, year hardened masonry, 15th-century Gothic cellars, authentic tiled stoves and stove-heated walls, and an extensive collection of books and publications. The library houses a unique Mickievičiana fund dedicated to Adomas Mickevičius, with over 1000 publications.

The palace, once belonging to the famous Tiškevičiai family, has opened its doors after a long restoration. The building surprises with its old, but resurrected from the archives of history, architectural values, and a cozy, renovated library space with a unique local spirit. Through the windows of the “Image Attic” located in the library, a panorama of the Old Town of Vilnius opens up from an angle never seen before.

Here you can enjoy the architectural heritage of the Tiškevičiai family, revealing the spirit of a luxurious urban rental apartment from the late 19th to early 20th centuries.
