Ogilvy Vilnius

Paupys, which has a long history on the left bank of the Vilnelė River, was formerly known as Paplauja, and has been mentioned as an industrial district since the 19th century. Craftsmen from various fields worked here, and in 1870–1935 the Lipskiai beer brewery operated here.

Paupys emptied out when the Skaiteks meter factory closed in 2008. Today it is a vibrant residential area with offices, cafés, a market and a cinema, but the small craftsmen have not disappeared.

The interior concept, created specially for the advertising agency Ogilvy Vilnius, is based on the principle of illusions and contradictions, which awakens the imagination and provokes thinking differently. It plays with materiality, structures and contrasts. Open work areas with acoustic partitions and a seating area provide an alternative to closed meeting spaces. All this embodies an atmosphere of partnership and communion.

The interior of Ogilvy Vilnius – the largest and oldest advertising agency in Lithuania, which is located in the new premises – has been selected as the best and most interesting implemented idea in the 2020 competition “Golden Palette”, the Oscars of Lithuanian interior design. Additionally, the exclusive décor detail “Blower” covering the walls of the office’s entrance has been awarded a prize in the “Good Design 22” competition.
