In New Town, near the Wedding Palace, St. Constantine and Michael Church, and other important state and business institutions, a modern multifunctional building “Embassy House” has been designed on a corner plot.
The building extends the perimeter development of the area between J. Basanavičiaus and K. Kalinausko streets, forming a complete street facade. The compelling context of Vilnius New Town and the purpose of the object led to a monumental architectural solution. In front of the building, a regenerated square has been created, becoming an attractive public space.
The Norwegian and Finnish diplomatic missions located in the building complement the emerging embassy district. The complex includes apartments and offices.
The building attracts attention with its monumental rhythmic facades, subtle modern architectural expression – a black stone facade and brass blinds – seamlessly blend into the environment of Tauro Hill and the New Town district. During the design process, great attention was paid to details, and the selected materials and colors still correspond to the solid purpose of the building.
The unique architecture of the building, harmoniously integrated into the corner of the historical quarter, represents high-quality contemporary architecture that can organically blend into the urban fabric of the city.
