Hidden in the tangled twists and turns of the Old Town streets, right in the heart of Vilnius, there is a building that once housed the “Tiesa” (Verity) newspaper. Today, it is a home for art and creativity, Menų Spaustuvė (Arts Printing House).
This industrial building has always stood out from the Old Town environment not only because of its scale and architecture, typical of industrial buildings, but also because of its function. The former printing house, now called Menų Spaustuvė, shelters all those who are initiative and love the performing arts, dance, and modern art. It is a place where the creative process takes place, where various performances, shows, and concerts are held.
This building is still considered one of the best examples of industrial building conversion in Lithuania. Art lovers, creators, and workers constantly wander through the spaces of the building; it is always pulsating with life. With the change of function, the building is accessible to all city residents who want to experience art.
