Ogmios City is a multifunctional complex that serves as an example of innovative and creative urban planning solutions in an ordinary city district. It blurs the lines between public and commercial spaces, transforming the neighborhood and offering new spatial experiences.

This 12-hectare area is gradually becoming a “city within a city”, where symbolic autonomy is questioned in relation to surrounding urban objects. Nearby garages, auto repair shops, and a factory create an alternative reality, enabling one to see the multiplicity of urban space.

Over the years, the function of this place has changed significantly. A neglected and chaotic area of former military barracks has transformed into an attractive and unique place for leisure. With each transformation, older elements were preserved, preserving a connection to the place and ensuring that it remains recognizable. All changes aimed to reuse and integrate the existing primary structure, rather than erase it, respecting the history of the place and revealing its developmental process.

Streets, pedestrian paths, squares, and parks are urban attributes that until recently did not agree with Ogmios City. In this area, recreation intertwines with commerce, creating a green urban zone with a strong focus on small architectural objects that reflect the rhythm of city dwellers and tell their stories.
